Rodney Carrington - Rave & Review combo

So yesturday a good friend of mine from work made a post on her facebook page about not being able to go see Rodney Carrington and wanted to know if anybody would like the tickets. I had never heard of him before, but was wondering why she could not go, she seemed a bit upset, she bought them for her and a friend as a birthday present and found out last minute the friend could not go. Well I am not super spontanious and was a little reluctant to take them and go. Leanne, my friend she continued sending me messages that I should take my wife and have a date night.

So I went in to ask my wife Christine if she wanted to go, and she said yeah sure. Great, lets go for dinner too as it was early enough that we could go for dinner and then see Rodney Carrington at 7pm.

So I told Leanne we would take the tickets, but we would somehow return the favor, she mentioned she would like a t-shirt. I didnt clue in she meant a t-shirt souviner, so I was thinking wtf she want a t-shirt for, a wet t-shirt contest or something? So after a few seconds the light went on, and I figured it out. I said sure we can get you a t-shirt no problem, least we can do. The tickets cost her 40 bucks n change a peice.

So we went to a Greek restaurant we go to for some dinner, then headed to the show, the opening act was good, but man Rodney Carrington had me laughing so hard at one point I was crying. Guy is just hilarious. Needless to say both me and my wife are fans, and now are looking to see him again, wife said she has not laughed that hard in a very long time.

Both me and my wife give big thanks to my friend Leanne for giving us a wonderful night out, and turning us on to a great comedian. Oh and yes we got that t-shirt for Leanne. Check out the attached video, just a sample of Rodney Carrington.
