Pepsi - no sugar soda in schools worldwide

Have you seen this story? Pepsi is caving to the political Bullshit game and they are "pledging" to take all of their drinks with sugar and calories in school systems world wide and replacing them with their zero calorie drinks. They are starting in the U.S, this is totally just a publicity gig, aimed to please the government, Obama, and trying to look good in the publics eye at the same time.

My thought is this, Pepsi, nor the government should be tryinig to dictate to the public on what they should or should not be drinking, eating etc. WTF people, there is another school that is banning any candy snacks to be brought on school campus!

Just rediculous that our government is telling the schools what the kids can and can not have to eat or drink, they say they are giving them choice, but when you only have a choice between a apple and orange, that is not choice, a choice is like skittles, or a orange/apple.

My question is this, what will happen when a diabetic student gets in a pinch and needs a soda or some sugar because the blood glucose is low.. what will happen when they pass out, potential to go in a coma... school will get the shit sued out of it, and deservingly so!

Remember when the commercials came out and said oh butte is bad for you, margin is good for you and your heart.. yeah right.. come to find out that damn margin crap was just as bad.. how about eggs, remember when they said eggs are bad for you give you high cholesterol.. yeah scratch that one too, not so bad for you. Then there was sugar.. bad for you, use alternitives.. well yeah found out that stuff can be bad for you also..

Look man too much of just about anything is bad for you. The government can not lay down one flat line rule and think it will work for everyone of us, because what works for you might not work for me.. its just how stupid the government is, and so how badly they are overstepping their boundaries.

Pepsi lost a ton of my respect with their decision to yank all drinks with sugar from schools. They can kiss my ass.
